Pet stain and odor removal in North Seattle, WA

Enzyme treatment that reaches the pad and subfloor, not a deodorizer sprayed over the top.

King County~30 min from our yard200+ five-star reviews

Brick Tudors in Wedgwood, post-war ramblers in Lake City and Northgate, and a wave of new townhomes with roof-vented dryers. Lots of finished basements with older carpet. That housing stock, plus one of the most pet-dense metros in the country and a wet season that keeps dogs indoors, is why pet treatment is one of our most-booked services in North Seattle. We hear a version of this from North Seattle every few weeks.

What North Seattle homes bring us

Rental turnovers in North Seattle are a large share of our pet work: a tenant's cat, a landlord's inspection and a smell that will not clear. We find every spot with UV, treat what can be treated, and tell landlords honestly when the pad has to go. That is the same call we get from North Seattle regularly.

For pet stain & odor removal in North Seattle that means dealing with one of the most dog-dense metros in the country, with a lot of rescue animals, rental turnovers and wet-season indoor accidents. A large slice of the city live here across zip codes 98103, 98115, 98117, 98125, 98133, 98177.

Seattle proper is a patchwork of eras: 1900s–1920s Craftsman and box houses on the older ridges, 1940s war housing in the south end, mid-century ramblers in the north, and a decade of new townhomes and condo towers everywhere in between. The one constant is that the city gets 150-plus days of measurable rain a year and most of those days someone walks in with wet shoes. Northgate, Lake City, Greenwood and Wedgwood all get regular visits; I-5 north from the yard is quick outside rush hour.

Neighborhood by neighborhood

  • We have cleaned enough homes in Northgate to know the soil there is mostly tracked-in grit and pet traffic, which pre-treatment handles well.
  • In Lake City, most of our pet stain & odor removal calls are from homeowners doing their first professional cleaning in years, and the before-and-after is dramatic.
  • Rentals in Wedgwood turn over regularly, and a good share of our Wedgwood work is turnover cleaning with a receipt for the landlord.
  • In Maple Leaf we often bundle pet stain & odor removal with a second service, because the truck is already running and the add-on is priced accordingly.
  • Bitter Lake is where we see the widest range of housing in North Seattle, so the tech looks at every room before quoting rather than pricing from the phone.

From North Seattle the van usually continues to Shoreline (about 32 minutes from our yard), Lake Forest Park (about 34 minutes from our yard), Kenmore (about 35 minutes from our yard), Juanita (about 32 minutes from our yard) on the same day, which is how pet stain & odor removal in North Seattle stays at our base rate: the drive is shared across the route.

Why it matters here

Enzyme treatment is safe for pets and kids once dry, and it works because it digests uric acid rather than covering it. Deodorizers cover it. The reviews from King County customers whose dog smell is gone are from enzyme work, not deodorizer. It is the kind of job that brings us back to North Seattle on a regular basis.

Holiday guests and holiday pets: visiting dogs mark, resident dogs get stressed, and the accidents happen in the guest room. We do a lot of post-holiday pet calls. North Seattle customers describe it to us the same way, almost word for word.

Jobs like yours

A renter's house had a cat urine smell no amount of vacuuming or spraying could clear. She called last-minute before moving in and our owner met her the next morning. UV found the deposits, enzyme reached the pad, extraction flushed it, and the house smelled clean by the time the boxes arrived. It is a familiar story on our North Seattle route.

Locally owned, not a franchise

The national carpet-cleaning brands you see advertised around King County are franchise territories run on a script: a low advertised price, a list of add-ons once the truck is parked, and a technician measured on ticket size. We run 3 vans out of a yard in South Park and a laundromat in Tukwila, and every review we have was earned one North Seattle living room at a time. Local ownership is not a slogan on this site; it is why the phone gets answered on a Sunday.

How the visit goes

The tech starts with a uv and moisture inspection and ends with a pad replacement when needed; what happens in between is on the pet stain & odor removal page. What does not change from house to house in North Seattle: you hear the price first, and it does not move. Pet treatment is priced on top of carpet cleaning and covers the spots found on inspection; sofas and mattresses with accidents are treated the same visit. Nothing about that is unusual for North Seattle — we see it often.

What we will tell you honestly

Urine that has reached the subfloor cannot be fixed from above. When the pad is saturated across a large area, the honest fix is pad replacement and a sealed subfloor, and we quote that separately rather than pretending treatment will do it. Ask any tech on our North Seattle route and you will hear the same answer.

Pricing in North Seattle

North Seattle is about 30 minutes from our yard in South Park. That is close enough to quote at our base rate and close enough that same-day is realistic when you call before noon. The number the tech gives you on the walk-through is the number on the receipt, and the walk-through is free.

Had such a great experience! We debated buying a carpet cleaner but had such bad cat urine stains we really needed one! They were so timely and fast! Highly recommend.

Cal was very efficient and did a great job with cleaning and treating our sectional couch. We have 2 pets that love to lay and jump on the couch, so we definitely needed this deep cleaning session. We will be using their services again!

Marcel was great! He made sure to ask where needed the most attention and didn't mind my kids asking questions. It was also super easy to book service.

Pet Stain & Odor Removal in North Seattle: questions

Do you treat pet odor in couches and beds?
Yes. Fabric and the top layer of cushion foam respond well. Urine that has saturated a foam core is harder and we will assess it honestly.
Why does the pet smell come back after cleaning?
Because the urine was in the pad, not the carpet. Surface cleaning wets the salts in the pad and they wick back up. Treatment has to reach the pad to work.
Do you serve all of North Seattle?
Yes — Northgate, Lake City, Wedgwood, Maple Leaf, Bitter Lake and Broadview and everything in between. North Seattle is an easy run from our yard.
How soon can you get to North Seattle?
Often the same day if you call before noon; otherwise within a day or two. North Seattle is on our daily routes.
