Mattress cleaning across Puget Sound

Steam and extraction cleaning for sweat, dust mites, kid accidents and pet hair. Same-day when the schedule allows.

You spend a third of your life on a mattress and almost nobody has cleaned one. Sweat, skin cells, dust mites and their waste, spilled coffee, a toddler's accident, a dog that sleeps on the foot of the bed. A mattress protector helps but most people do not have one, and even the ones who do still have the pillow-top itself absorbing years of use.

Our mattress cleaning is a low-moisture hot water extraction. The surface is vacuumed with a HEPA tool to lift dust mite material, spots are pre-treated, the whole surface is cleaned with a heated upholstery tool that extracts as it goes, and the mattress is left to dry with air movement. A king mattress is typically dry by bedtime if we clean it in the morning. We can steam-clean the bed frame and headboard at the same time.

This is one of our most popular same-day services. People call after a sick kid, a pet accident or when they are moving a mattress into a new place and want it fresh before sleeping on it. If the van is in your area, we can often get there the same afternoon.

A family called around noon with a houseful of kids and an elderly dog, and had two split king mattresses steam cleaned by 5:30 the same day. The tech explained the process and showed them what came out. Same-day mattress cleaning is among our most frequent requests.

A customer described her mattress as cleaned and improved, at a price she called extremely reasonable, and it did not take long. A queen mattress is a thirty-to-forty-minute job.

A mattress coming out of a storage unit into a new apartment smelled musty. HEPA vacuum, a sanitizing treatment and a low-moisture extraction left it fresh for the first night.

A guest-room mattress in a short-term rental had a visible yellow sweat stain from a previous guest. It lightened dramatically with an oxidizing pre-treatment and the host now has us clean it twice a year.

A toddler's mattress had a week of accidents on it. Enzyme treatment, extraction and a fan, dry by bedtime. Crib and toddler mattresses are the easiest ones to clean.

Through the year in Puget Sound

Winter illness season is mattress season: after a stomach bug goes through the house, a cleaning and sanitizing treatment on every affected bed is the right call.

Spring allergies are often mattress allergies. Dust mite allergen in the bed is what makes mornings miserable, and a spring cleaning plus a protector makes a real difference.

Summer sweat and humidity build up in a mattress. A late-summer cleaning before the house closes up for fall is a good habit.

Guest season — Thanksgiving through New Year's — is when the guest room mattress gets used. Clean it before the guests, not after.

What we will tell you honestly

Memory foam that has been saturated by a spill cannot be deep-cleaned without risking the foam. We clean the surface and keep moisture very low.

Very old sweat stains lighten but may not vanish. The mattress will be clean and sanitized; it may not be white.

A mattress with a sag or broken springs is not something cleaning fixes.

Locally owned, not a franchise

Mattress Cleaning from a national brand comes with an advertised price and a list of add-ons at the door, because the franchise fee has to come from somewhere. We are one family with 3 vans in South Park and a laundromat in Tukwila; the quote on site is the number on the receipt, the techs are the ones customers name in reviews, and on a Sunday night the owner answers the phone. Here is the side-by-side.

How the job goes

  1. HEPA vacuum

The full surface, seams and tufts get vacuumed with a HEPA filter tool to remove dust mite allergen and loose debris.

  2. UV inspection and spot treatment

A blacklight reveals old fluid stains. Each spot gets the right pre-treatment — enzyme for biological, oxidizer for sweat and yellowing.

  3. Low-moisture extraction

A heated upholstery tool cleans and extracts across the whole surface without saturating the foam beneath.

  4. Sanitize

An EPA-registered sanitizer is applied to the surface if you want it, which is a good idea after illness.

  5. Speed dry

An air mover runs across the surface. Most mattresses are dry in three to six hours.

Pricing, plainly

Priced per mattress by size, with box springs and headboards added per piece. Multiple mattresses in one visit are discounted. It is a low-cost service that adds little to a carpet or upholstery visit.

There is no charge for the walk-through and no surprise upcharges. The number you hear before we start is the number on the receipt.

Wonderful experience. I called around noon time and we were done with our service at 5:30! Our split king mattresses were steam cleaned. They look and smell amazing! The tech that came out took the time to explain the process and show us. We have lots of kids and a geriatric dog all present. Didn't phase him a bit!

Look no further! This is the company you should hire for your carpet and duct cleaning. They did all my ducts, pulled out filthy dust that I wasn't even aware of. I can feel the difference in the air in my house now.

Kal did an amazing job to clean and improve our mattress. Price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended and it didn't take long at all.

Questions we get asked

Can memory foam be cleaned?
The cover and top surface can. We keep moisture very low on memory foam because the foam takes a long time to dry if saturated.
Will my mattress be dry by tonight?
If we clean it in the morning or early afternoon, yes. Keep the room warm and a window cracked and it dries faster.
Does mattress cleaning kill dust mites?
The HEPA vacuum removes mites and their allergen, and heat from the extraction tool kills what remains on the surface. A protector afterward keeps them down.
Can you remove yellow stains?
Sweat and body-oil yellowing lightens significantly and often disappears. Very old stains may lighten without fully going away.
How often should a mattress be cleaned?
Every twelve to eighteen months, or right away after a spill, illness or pet accident.
