Pet stain and odor removal in Mountlake Terrace, WA

Enzyme treatment that reaches the pad and subfloor, not a deodorizer sprayed over the top.

Snohomish County~36 min from our yard200+ five-star reviews

Mountlake Terrace is a dog town, and the calls we get from Mountlake Terrace about pet odor almost all share one detail: the carpet has already been cleaned, sometimes twice, and it still smells. That is because the urine is in the pad and the subfloor, not the carpet, and surface cleaning reactivates it. Pet treatment is a different job from carpet cleaning and we price and perform it that way. Mountlake Terrace customers describe it to us the same way, almost word for word.

What Mountlake Terrace homes bring us

Rental turnovers in Mountlake Terrace are a large share of our pet work: a tenant's cat, a landlord's inspection and a smell that will not clear. We find every spot with UV, treat what can be treated, and tell landlords honestly when the pad has to go. It is the kind of job that brings us back to Mountlake Terrace on a regular basis.

For pet stain & odor removal in Mountlake Terrace that means dealing with one of the most dog-dense metros in the country, with a lot of rescue animals, rental turnovers and wet-season indoor accidents. About twenty-one thousand live here across zip code 98043, and the neighborhoods we visit most are Lake Ballinger, Town Center and Cedar Way.

Everett's Boeing-era 1950s–60s homes have original ducts; south Everett and Lynnwood have enormous apartment stocks around the light rail. Edmonds' Bowl is view homes with quality rugs and upholstery. Mill Creek and Mukilteo's Harbour Pointe are planned communities with long stair runs and two-story carpet. Marysville, Lake Stevens and Monroe are family subdivisions with dogs and builder carpet. Snohomish's historic district has Victorian homes with masonry chimneys. Mountlake Terrace is right on our path north and one of the easiest Snohomish cities to fit in same-day.

Neighborhood by neighborhood

  • We keep notes on repeat customers in Lake Ballinger, so the tech knows the closet that never dries and the spot behind the sofa before he walks in.
  • In Town Center we often bundle pet stain & odor removal with a second service, because the truck is already running and the add-on is priced accordingly.
  • Cedar Way is on the same route day as the rest of Mountlake Terrace, and neighbors who book the same week are grouped together.

From Mountlake Terrace the van usually continues to Lynnwood (about 38 minutes from our yard), Lake Forest Park (about 34 minutes from our yard), Shoreline (about 32 minutes from our yard), Edmonds (about 40 minutes from our yard) on the same day, which is how pet stain & odor removal in Mountlake Terrace stays at our base rate: the drive is shared across the route.

Why it matters here

Enzyme treatment is safe for pets and kids once dry, and it works because it digests uric acid rather than covering it. Deodorizers cover it. The reviews from Snohomish County customers whose dog smell is gone are from enzyme work, not deodorizer. That is the same call we get from Mountlake Terrace regularly.

Holiday guests and holiday pets: visiting dogs mark, resident dogs get stressed, and the accidents happen in the guest room. We do a lot of post-holiday pet calls. We hear a version of this from Mountlake Terrace every few weeks.

Jobs like yours

A couple had debated buying their own carpet cleaner because of bad cat urine stains. They called us instead. Store-bought machines spread urine and reactivate the salts; a sub-surface extraction pulls it up from the pad. The stains and the smell were gone the same day. Mountlake Terrace customers describe it to us the same way, almost word for word.

Locally owned, not a franchise

We are deeply rooted in this part of Washington. Our family runs Quite Clean Laundry on Tukwila International Boulevard, our cleaning yard is on S Cloverdale St in Seattle, and the Snohomish County customers who first called us as PNW Carpet & Duct Cleaning in 2019 are still calling the same number. That matters for pet stain & odor removal in Mountlake Terrace in a practical way: the tech has seen your kind of house before, knows what the soil is here, and has a boss he can call from your driveway if something unusual comes up.

How the visit goes

UV and moisture inspection, then enzyme saturation, then dwell time, then sub-surface extraction, then pad replacement when needed. The tech quotes the whole job before any equipment comes off the van. Pet treatment is priced on top of carpet cleaning and covers the spots found on inspection; sofas and mattresses with accidents are treated the same visit. It is the kind of job that brings us back to Mountlake Terrace on a regular basis.

What we will tell you honestly

Deodorizers cover smell. They do not remove it. We do not sell a deodorizer as a fix for pet urine. That is the honest answer we give in Mountlake Terrace every time it comes up.

Pricing in Mountlake Terrace

We price pet stain & odor removal in Mountlake Terrace the way we price it everywhere: on site, before we start, after looking at every room or piece. Snohomish County adds a trip fee to cover the 36-minute drive from South Park, which we tell you when you book, not after we arrive. Repeat customers, active-duty military and property managers with multiple units get their own rates; ask.

The guys did a wonderful job of making sure my carpets looked great, smelled great, and cleaned my sectional so good! My friend came to visit while they were working and was equally impressed. She's going to be booking soon! They cleaned four rooms and a sectional. One room had heavy pet stains and an odor so bad I closed up the room and stuffed towels at the base. The smell is completely gone after they used the pet cleaner.

Wonderful experience. I called around noon time and we were done with our service at 5:30! Our split king mattresses were steam cleaned. They look and smell amazing! The tech that came out took the time to explain the process and show us. We have lots of kids and a geriatric dog all present. Didn't phase him a bit!

My carpets look better than when we bought the house. Professional management, professional team. Prompt, kind, thorough, and fair. Highest recommendation.

Pet Stain & Odor Removal in Mountlake Terrace: questions

Can you guarantee the smell will be gone?
For light and moderate contamination, yes. For heavy contamination where urine reached the subfloor, we will tell you whether treatment or pad replacement is the right call before you pay for either.
Will the enzyme product harm my pet?
No. Enzyme cleaners are bacterial cultures that eat organic waste. They are safe once dry, and they are what a vet clinic uses on its own floors.
Do you serve all of Mountlake Terrace?
Yes — Lake Ballinger, Town Center and Cedar Way and everything in between. Mountlake Terrace is a normal route stop for us.
How soon can you get to Mountlake Terrace?
Usually within a few days, and same-day when a van is already on that side of the county. Call and we will tell you honestly.
Is there a trip fee for Mountlake Terrace?
Yes — Snohomish County is subject to a trip fee on top of the service price. We quote it up front on the phone along with the job itself, so the total is agreed before we book the day, not a surprise when the tech arrives.
