We have cleaned carpet in Monroe enough times to know what to expect before the van pulls up. What that means for your carpet is a technician who has seen your kind of house before and knows where the soil hides. We hear a version of this from Monroe every few weeks.

What Monroe homes bring us

Small-town homes, rural acreage and newer plats along Highway 2, with wood stoves and animals common. In Downtown Monroe, Fryelands and Chain Lake, that translates into a lot of traffic-lane cleaning, stair runs and rooms that have not had a professional cleaning in years. That is the same call we get from Monroe regularly.

For carpet cleaning in Monroe that means dealing with wet-shoe traffic, pet accidents and the damp that gets into pad during the rainy season. About twenty thousand live here across zip code 98272, and the neighborhoods we visit most are Downtown Monroe, Fryelands and Chain Lake.

Lynnwood, Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace are close enough for regular north-end days. Everett, Marysville, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Monroe and Arlington run on scheduled county days, filled end to end. Monroe is paired with Snohomish and Duvall runs on the east side of the county.

Neighborhood by neighborhood

  • Downtown Monroe has a lot of homes where a previous pet left its mark; a UV inspection before carpet cleaning is worth asking for there.
  • Fryelands is on the same route day as the rest of Monroe, and neighbors who book the same week are grouped together.
  • In Chain Lake, most of our carpet cleaning calls are from homeowners doing their first professional cleaning in years, and the before-and-after is dramatic.

From Monroe the van usually continues to Snohomish (about 50 minutes from our yard), Duvall (about 48 minutes from our yard), Mill Creek (about 40 minutes from our yard), Woodinville (about 38 minutes from our yard) on the same day, which is how carpet cleaning in Monroe stays at our base rate: the drive is shared across the route.

Why it matters here

We quote on site before we begin, tell you which spots will and will not come out, and move the light furniture. Techs like Marcel, Shane and Abraham are named repeatedly in our reviews for exactly that kind of straightforwardness, and that is who shows up in Monroe. It is the kind of job that brings us back to Monroe on a regular basis.

Summer is when carpet gets the least attention and takes the most sand. Lake and beach days, wet swimsuits, dogs in and out, wildfire smoke settling into the pile in August. A late-summer cleaning before the house closes up for fall pulls all of it out before the furnace starts circulating it. Monroe customers describe it to us the same way, almost word for word.

Jobs like yours

A couple bought a house from a family with a dog, five cats, a bunny, chickens and three kids. They expected to replace every carpet. We came the next day, pre-treated the whole house, ran the truck-mount room by room and the carpets came back to a color they had not seen in the listing photos. They kept the carpet and spent the replacement budget on the kitchen. That is a typical week for us in and around Monroe.

Locally owned, not a franchise

Quite Clean Home Services is one family's business, not a franchise territory. The owner lives here, answers the after-hours phone himself, and the techs who clean carpet cleaning in Monroe are the same people customers name in reviews — Marcel, Shane, Nick, Arquimedes. There is no call center, no franchise fee built into the price, and no manager in another state deciding what gets upsold at the door. When we say the quote before we start is the number on the receipt, that is because the person who gave you the quote is the person who owns the company.

How the visit goes

Every carpet cleaning visit in Monroe follows the same order: walk-through and honest quote first, speed dry and groom last, and 3 steps between that the tech will explain as he goes. Most carpet customers add the sofa, a mattress or the dryer vent while the truck is running; the add-ons are priced accordingly. That is the same call we get from Monroe regularly.

What we will tell you honestly

Bleach spots are missing dye, not a stain, and no cleaning puts color back. Furniture-leg dents can be steamed up but deep ones stay. Wear patterns where the pile has been abraded flat do not clean out; they are physical damage. We tell every Monroe customer the same thing before we start.

Pricing in Monroe

There is no coupon price for Monroe and no list of add-ons at the door. Carpet Cleaning here is quoted as a whole job — priced by the room and by the amount of pre-treatment a room actually needs, quoted on site before we begin — plus the Snohomish County trip fee, quoted together on the phone so you know the full number before we book the day.

The guys did a wonderful job of making sure my carpets looked great, smelled great, and cleaned my sectional so good! My friend came to visit while they were working and was equally impressed. She's going to be booking soon! They cleaned four rooms and a sectional. One room had heavy pet stains and an odor so bad I closed up the room and stuffed towels at the base. The smell is completely gone after they used the pet cleaner.

What a great experience it was to work with this company! I was extremely pleased with Marcel and the work he did! And, the price was fair. I love my nice clean carpets… and now I don't have to replace them!

Kal and Mike did a great job cleaning a recliner and my bedroom. I had many stains of an unknown origin that I couldn't clean with canned store bought cleaner. He was able to make my carpet look new. I highly recommend this service. Totally professional and reasonably priced. 6 stars.

Carpet Cleaning in Monroe: questions

How often should carpet be cleaned in the Seattle area?
Every six to twelve months for homes with pets or kids, every twelve to eighteen months otherwise. The wet season is hard on carpet; a spring cleaning after the rain lets up is the single best time.
How long will my carpet take to dry?
Four to eight hours is typical in a house with normal airflow. We leave air movers running on wet rooms when we can, and cracking a window or running the furnace fan speeds it up. In a cold rental with no heat on, allow overnight.
Do you serve all of Monroe?
Yes — Downtown Monroe, Fryelands and Chain Lake and everything in between. Monroe is a scheduled-day stop we fill with neighboring jobs, so we group nearby jobs on the same day; ask when you call.
How soon can you get to Monroe?
Usually within a few days, and same-day when a van is already on that side of the county. Call and we will tell you honestly.
Is there a trip fee for Monroe?
Yes — Snohomish County is subject to a trip fee on top of the service price. We quote it up front on the phone along with the job itself, so the total is agreed before we book the day, not a surprise when the tech arrives.
