Pet stain and odor removal in Key Peninsula, WA

Enzyme treatment that reaches the pad and subfloor, not a deodorizer sprayed over the top.

Key Peninsula is a dog town, and the calls we get from Key Peninsula about pet odor almost all share one detail: the carpet has already been cleaned, sometimes twice, and it still smells. That is because the urine is in the pad and the subfloor, not the carpet, and surface cleaning reactivates it. Pet treatment is a different job from carpet cleaning and we price and perform it that way. Nothing about that is unusual for Key Peninsula — we see it often.

What Key Peninsula homes bring us

Rental turnovers in Key Peninsula are a large share of our pet work: a tenant's cat, a landlord's inspection and a smell that will not clear. We find every spot with UV, treat what can be treated, and tell landlords honestly when the pad has to go. Ask around Key Peninsula and you will hear a similar story from a neighbor.

For pet stain & odor removal in Key Peninsula that means dealing with one of the most dog-dense metros in the country, with a lot of rescue animals, rental turnovers and wet-season indoor accidents. About seventeen thousand live here across zip codes 98329, 98349, 98351, and the neighborhoods we visit most are Lakebay, Home, Longbranch, Vaughn, Wauna and Purdy.

Vacation rentals and second homes need a spring opening clean — carpet, upholstery, mattresses, dryer vent — and a fall closing. Property managers for the rental cabins use us on a schedule. We cover the whole Key Peninsula from Purdy to Longbranch on scheduled peninsula days.

Neighborhood by neighborhood

  • Lakebay is where we see the widest range of housing in Key Peninsula, so the tech looks at every room before quoting rather than pricing from the phone.
  • In Home we often bundle pet stain & odor removal with a second service, because the truck is already running and the add-on is priced accordingly.
  • Longbranch has a lot of homes where a previous pet left its mark; a UV inspection before pet stain & odor removal is worth asking for there.
  • We have cleaned enough homes in Vaughn to know the soil there is mostly tracked-in grit and pet traffic, which pre-treatment handles well.
  • Wauna homes are among the ones in Key Peninsula where the tech is most likely to recommend the whole floor rather than a single room, because the traffic lanes connect.

From Key Peninsula the van usually continues to Allyn (about 70 minutes from our yard), Wauna (about 58 minutes from our yard), Grapeview (about 75 minutes from our yard), Fox Island (about 55 minutes from our yard) on the same day, which is how pet stain & odor removal in Key Peninsula stays at our base rate: the drive is shared across the route.

Why it matters here

Enzyme treatment is safe for pets and kids once dry, and it works because it digests uric acid rather than covering it. Deodorizers cover it. The reviews from Pierce County customers whose dog smell is gone are from enzyme work, not deodorizer. We could tell the same story about a dozen Key Peninsula addresses.

Holiday guests and holiday pets: visiting dogs mark, resident dogs get stressed, and the accidents happen in the guest room. We do a lot of post-holiday pet calls. That is a typical week for us in and around Key Peninsula.

Jobs like yours

A basement's carpets and rugs were covered in pet mess from a dog kept downstairs. Stains and smells both went. The rugs went out for washing because urine in a rug's foundation cannot be reached in the home. Nothing about that is unusual for Key Peninsula — we see it often.

Locally owned, not a franchise

Money spent with a local company stays local. Our techs live in south King and Pierce County, our vans are serviced in Kent, our supplies come from a Seattle distributor, and the laundromat employs neighbors in Tukwila. When you book pet stain & odor removal in Key Peninsula with us instead of a national brand, that is where the money goes.

How the visit goes

UV and moisture inspection, then enzyme saturation, then dwell time, then sub-surface extraction, then pad replacement when needed. The tech quotes the whole job before any equipment comes off the van. Pet treatment is priced on top of carpet cleaning and covers the spots found on inspection; sofas and mattresses with accidents are treated the same visit. Ask around Key Peninsula and you will hear a similar story from a neighbor.

What we will tell you honestly

Deodorizers cover smell. They do not remove it. We do not sell a deodorizer as a fix for pet urine. We would rather say that up front in Key Peninsula than surprise you at the door.

Pricing in Key Peninsula

We price pet stain & odor removal in Key Peninsula the way we price it everywhere: on site, before we start, after looking at every room or piece. Key Peninsula's 65-minute drive from South Park is absorbed by grouping the route, not by charging you for it. Repeat customers, active-duty military and property managers with multiple units get their own rates; ask.

The guys did a wonderful job of making sure my carpets looked great, smelled great, and cleaned my sectional so good! My friend came to visit while they were working and was equally impressed. She's going to be booking soon! They cleaned four rooms and a sectional. One room had heavy pet stains and an odor so bad I closed up the room and stuffed towels at the base. The smell is completely gone after they used the pet cleaner.

Wonderful experience. I called around noon time and we were done with our service at 5:30! Our split king mattresses were steam cleaned. They look and smell amazing! The tech that came out took the time to explain the process and show us. We have lots of kids and a geriatric dog all present. Didn't phase him a bit!

My carpets look better than when we bought the house. Professional management, professional team. Prompt, kind, thorough, and fair. Highest recommendation.

Pet Stain & Odor Removal in Key Peninsula: questions

Can you find spots I cannot see?
Yes. Dried urine fluoresces under UV. It is common to find two or three times as many spots as the homeowner knew about.
Do you treat pet odor in couches and beds?
Yes. Fabric and the top layer of cushion foam respond well. Urine that has saturated a foam core is harder and we will assess it honestly.
Do you serve all of Key Peninsula?
Yes — Lakebay, Home, Longbranch, Vaughn, Wauna and Purdy and everything in between. Key Peninsula is one of our farther stops, which we batch with nearby towns so the drive does not land on one customer, so we group nearby jobs on the same day; ask when you call.
How soon can you get to Key Peninsula?
Key Peninsula is a scheduled-day stop for us. Give us a few days' notice and we will batch it with nearby jobs, which keeps the price the same as closer cities.
